Expat bus travellers to Dubai not facing problems

Observer Online/Vinod Nair

Muscat – Expatriates travelling to UAE, especially Dubai, from Oman by bus are
not facing any problem at the Hatta border, said an official of a private operator
that runs daily two services from Muscat to the emirate.
An official at Mwasalat said that there have been no such reports so far. This confirmation came in the wake of reports that some non-GCC passport holders travelling by car were not allowed to travel to Dubai through Hatta border, and instead use alternative routes to enter UAE. The route via Madha has been closed for expatriates till further notice due to some construction work, it has been learnt.
